This article discussed the memories about Dr. Martin Luther King during segregation, and things he tried to make happen before his death. King wanted the best for every human being. He campaigned many different things! With an economic Bill of Rights, King hoped to divert monies away from the war and start funding equal opportunity programs for the poor working class.

Chapter 1.
I started reading a short story called The invisible man! The invisible man came out of the middle of nowhere one winter nignt in February.Standing outside wrapped up with his face almost fully covered. He didnt say a word, he just followed Mrs. Hall. she took him into a warm place and started a fire to keep him warm. He didnt spoke unless spoken to. Mrs.Hall said the little town doesnt get many guests so when thry do its somethin g strange.

Chapter 2 of the Invisible man talks more about the man that came during the winter. mainly discribes his appears and who he might be. the way he talks and gives off a crazy look. Mrs. Hall continued to be nice to the stranger by cooking him dinner and putting him infront the fire to keep him warm.Mrs. Hall started to realize he wasnt a normal stranger,but he was stranger then the rest.

I read about the message transfer . Communication is a way of transferring meaning rom sender to reciever. First, its the source, which is the originator of a thought or an emotion. Reciever, which is the person who decodes the signal and attempts to make sense of what the surce encoded. Message, which is the written, spoken, and unspoken elements of communication to which we assign the meaning.Channel, which is when a message is communicated from sender to reciever via some pathway. Noise, which is intereference.

I read about the five principles of communication. the first one was to be aware of your communication with yourself and others. the second one was effectively use and interpret verbal messages. The third is effectively use and interpret nonverbal messages. The fourth one was Liestening and responding thoughtfully to other, and the last one was Appropriately adapt messages to others.

I read about developing relationships. The perception process and their different stages. Perception is the arousal of any of our senses. The first stage is attention and Selection. I read a story in my book about the Civil Rights Movement. It discussed Rosa Parks and the situation when she didnt want to get up from the seat. The entire African Americans boycotted the bus line. During the boycott Martin Luther King went to jail, and his house was bombed.

Today I read an article on diabetes and the causes,symptoms, and treatment. Diabetes is a chronic (lifelong) disease marked by high level of sugar in the blood. There are two types of diabetes: Type I and Type 2. I learned many interesting facts I didnt know about diabetes, and the facts helped me to understand more aboit the background.

I read a story about an increasing number of lakes and rivers in the northern united states invaded are being by a species no larger than a fingernail. The zebra mussel probably steamed abroad a transatlantic ship sometime in the mid-1980’s from the Caspian Sea into U.S waterways.

I continued the article. Its growth was explosive, partly because the species was preyed upon by very few native predators in their new environment. The zebras found a plentiful food supply. They eat huge amounts of phytoplankton, which tiny free-floating sea organisms that dwell in the water.
